They are examples of the Northern Pontic type, which has nothing to do with the Pontid type.

The Northern Pontic type is equivalent to the (Central) Eastern European type.

I've never said she is Ukrainian. Linus has said it (probably influenced by the fact she was born in Kiev).

About the Pontid, why not, Ross ? She seems rather pontid to my eyes.

This Czech model as well. Presence of this type nowadays should be connected with debrachycephalization trend. They'd make perfect Dinarids if they were brachycephalic.

Btw, Milan Baroš isn't Hungarian even though his surname does hint that. Baroš is a nick name of Bartoloměj, clearly Czech. I wouldn't say he's Pontid either, maybe westalpine.

I read that he's half-Hungarian half-Czech on Dodona.

Westalpinid? It should be the combination of Atlanto-Mediterranid and Osteuropid/Baltic admixture (slightly folded eyes).

The Northern Pontic type is a depigmented variety of the Pontic type and belongs to the Indo-Mediterranean race. It does _not_ belong to the Central Eastern European race.

Translation:

The Pontic type of the Indo-Mediterranean race, or Pontic race, Black Sea or Eastern Mediterranean type - is extended among the peoples of the coast of the Black sea, for example, of Adygei and South Russians. Somewhat in terms of larger sizes, and also in terms of increased percentage of the omitted (?) tip of the nose and light eyes it is different from the more southern Caspian type.

Северопонтийский тип европеоидной расы - по В.В. Бунаку северный вариант понтийского типа, отличающийся от южного более светлой пигментацией.

Translation:

The Northern Pontic type of the Europeoid race - according to Bunak, the northern variety of the Pontic type, differing from the southern one by lighter pigmentation."

That's what authors of "Origins and ethnic history of the Russian people" write about early works (1932) of V.V. Bunak:

In the same group of Northern Pontic types... the author [V.V. Bunak] puts also the Central Russian (Eastern European) type.
