At least in the case of 'indigenous' prison inmates in Spain, it must be said that most of those alleged Spaniards are actually Gypsies or partially Gypsies, which would make the number of real Spaniards drop considerably.

In general, and for most European countries, a [considerable?] number of 'indigenous' prison inmates will be foreigners who have the citizenship.

I can see why crime is at a high and it is plain and simple. Immigration. Years ago Europe never faced this agony America crime just keeps spreading like a disease. It will happen all over if all the minorities keep spreading I can tell you that right now . . .

America is giving power to the lower man and it is brushing off on to Europe. The Jews and Arabs steal media. So, we have all this crime to deal with. I do believe stealing media is an act of crime because in a sense it destroyed my brain as far as Jews and medications go earlier in my life, let's say 12 years ago.

As Mynydd pointed out with Spain, many (if not most) of the criminals in Poland are Gypsies as well. One of the words in Polish for stealing (cyganic) literally means to 'gypsy' someone, i.e. to lie, cheat, steal, etc.

Well, I remember just some years ago Portugal was the one of most safe countries in Europe. Iirc, in 1997 it was even classified the most secure of Europe (not sure, but probably by the EU). Then the mass immigration started, mostly in 1999 till now, and now the criminality rate resents that...

The 35% of Foreign Inmates are in general Arabs, which in relation to Ethnic Groups in Malta do not account 1% of the total population of Malta, according to the last official statistics I've seen.

Yup, same in belgium. 41% foreignors, but among those 59%, there are A LOT of so called paper belgians. I think the 60/40 proportion should actually be reversed, to get a better idea of how things are.

In Portugal the vast majority of "national" prisoners are african-born immigrant who have received our nationality or the offspring of africans living here. So a rule of thumb to apply here would be that 80% of the numbers indicated are NOT native portuguese.

So, why they got that portuguese nationality?
for good citizenship?

To me, foreigners would only deserve portuguese nationality only if:

a:Remarkable services to our nation !
b:Father or Mother Portuguese.

why father or mother? personally - and speaking for malta - i would opt that only children born of maltese mother and maltese father be given maltese nationality.

As the law now stands, anyone born in malta, to parents of any nationality, are maltese - with all its legal and other implications.
