As I've said true artists would create despite any laws. Like some Swedish prog rock musicians, who were cleaning the streets to earn money.

You mean the true artist will continue to make art despite the fact that... f.e. someone is stealing it all the time, using it as their own, without paying a price? Of course. But how many 'true artists' are out there?

No? Here you have to pay for windows know, you wanted it or. Well... there are still ways to pass this duty, but it's much harder then one year ago.

I'm not talking about using someone's music to earn money. Laws prohibit lend you the book I've bought, for example.
I'm against such stupidity. Also, when you copy a cd, you are not stealing anything, technically speaking.

Genuine artists are not greedy and do not create for money, they do it out of passion. The real ones are poor and die miserable and young of starvation or disease. That's the spirit!

Just watch the south park episode, when Britney Spears and Lars Ulrich complained they couldn't afford to buy airplanes with gold furniture because of the evil guys who steal their music.

That's true. Dostoevsky was living in poverty all his life, Walter Scott wrote most of his novels just to pay his debts. Most of musicians was starting their career while working as dishwashers or street cleaners. I believe that true artists have to go through hell and dirt just to get where they are. Definitely not Britney Spears or Lars Ulrich's case.

Even when you photo-copy or scan a book of an author who is still alive, or even if he is dead and someone else (family, foundation etc.) lays claim on his "intellectual rights", you are - technically speaking - stealing intellectual property, according to the modern idea thereof.

I was just refering to Windows. If you want it to be instaled somewhere you need the original version. Of course... even this is in my case all home-made.
