They are trying to sensibilise Christians and I don't think that's a bad strategy at all. Many of today's Christians are said to be ignorant about what their own religion stands for.

![]() Although it does depend on which "Christians" you're talking about. If you're talking about the Orthodox, you will hear more than enough criticism of Jews. Catholic, well it depends. Traditionalists are very critical of the Jews. Neo-Catholics/Liberals like to emphasize Christian-Jewish friendship, yet now and then you'll hear criticisms of the Jews(especially within the context of anti-Zionism, since many Palestinians are Catholics). Protestants, especially the Evengelical "rapture" people, they're the staunchest Zionist supporters. I think it's largely this crowd your article is dealing with; since it's this group thats commonly referred to as "Bible-believing Christians".

Therefore love toward your own nation is not contradictory to love for the whole of mankind; they complement each other. All of the nations are children of God." --Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac, 1938 Last edited by Perun; Wednesday, July 6th, 2005 at 20:21. |
