Israel favours an intervention of the Arab countries in Gazah

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, appealed today to the Arab countries to help solve the internal crisis in Gazah, and supported the deployment of an international force in the border with Egypt to stop the arms traffic.
"I don't think that Israel must intervene, but the Arab countries should do it in some way", said Ehud Olmert today in Jerusalem, during an interview with Maxime Verhagen, the Dutch Foreign Minister.
Olmert, who admitted being worried for what is going on in Gazah, supported the deployment of an international force in the border of Gazah and Egypt, to stop the arms traffic that "has contributed to the current situation".
Miri Eisin, Olmert's speaker, was asked about the possibility that a humanitarian crisis arises in the border with Israel, given that the border with Egypt is closed. To what she answered that "if a situation that requires a response arouse, we would not ignore it".
