Delta32 & the Maltese
This is from an essay entitled Fabulae Melitae by Norman Lowell:
"Delta 32
Thanks to the bubonic plague, Europeans have developed a gene-mutation called Delta 32. This renders them fairly immune to such diseases as aids and other infections. This gene is fairly well disributed throughout the European peoples. Practically every European inherits it from either of the parents.
Here in Malta, due to the limited space of the island and the interbreeding of the relatively small population, the plague lasted a long time. Notwithstanding rigid measures of quarantine, it returned several times mainly through contagious ships visiting our harbours.
For exacly the same reasons: small population in a small island - the Maltese inherit this Delta 32 gene-mutation from both parents, something quite rare in Europe. This renders the Maltese as the hardiest race in the world as regards immunity to infectious diseases. We are fairly immune to practically everything, so much so that aids in Malta is quasi non-existant, notwithstanding the over one million tourists visiting the island every year – some of them intentionally making it a sex holiday!
We Maltese, custodians of the Sacred Island of Melita - Tenants on this very special Spiritual Sacred Spot - must re-discover our Spiritual Delta 32. We have to become immune, hardened to the "rich North". Those influences that have infected the rest of Europe, contaminating all Western Europeans except, for the time being: the Slavs."
