In context these verses apply to specific events in the 7th century, Muhammad fighting the nonbelievers. The Quran isn't just a rule book, there is a story element detailing what happened to Muhammad and his followers. Its like taking a verse of the Bible such as Genesis 22 where God orders Abraham to sacrifice his child Isaac and saying God wants all people to sacrifice their children. Its not a general command to all Christians or Jews, but a specific order to a specific person, like these oft-quoted verses of the Quran are to Muhammad.

Even if what you say is right (and I doubt it), it doesn't change anything. Muslims learn those teachings and ready to apply them.

Look at me putting petrol all over my body for saying this: So what? The message of the christian holy book (the Bible), specially the New Testament, is of love and compreension and look at what christians have done thru the centuries!?!
Anyway, the Quran and it's teachings relate to the Muslim/Arab culture, not our own so it should be preserved by them and for themselves, not spread in Europe or even allowed to be present in our culture.
I find interesting that many sects and religious claim the only thing they want is to be respected but then their followers disrespect other religions: plain and simple hipocrisy.

Ehehe, well, both or neither actually, my point was that even if the Holy Book of the muslims or the Holy Book of the Christians says for them to be kind that does not mean they will act accordingly. The Quran is filled with messages of love, and yet you see alot of muslims commiting acts of barbaric violence, likewise you also see christians completely disrespecting their gospels (for example, "honour thy father". Alot of people don't give a damn about that still it's a commandment of their God!).

The main difference is that Islam is much more aggressive than Christianism in Europe, Christianism is now "virtually dead" (if I hurt, I apologise) and Islam is well "alive". Christianism isn't a "danger" (maybe V. II is, but V. II christians represent nothing in front of Islam, they're just a cattle). Islam is far more dangerous.

I don't defend Christians because Christianism is the "true" religion (or because this is the "truth") and Islam the "wrong" one. I defend them because they're at home here. Christianism was the religion of our forefathers (at least a part), Islam wasn't. I like this part of your post, a good reason if not the main imo :
