Islamism Minarets arrogantly defying Europe's cities. Millions waiting at the gates. A tide waiting.

Default Modern Islamism - Failed Westernisation

As an answer to the question if Westernisation will be successful in the Near I wrote this on Dodona, might be interesting to discuss:

There was a chance for at least part successful Westernisation with Nationalism, Fascism and Socialism, but this chance was destroyed in wars and with political actions by the USA and Israel, they even furthered religious groups to get rid of those movements. Liberalcapitalism is a diseases and it hurts Europe already and is even much more foreign to the Near East.
That way of modernisation and Westernisation will hopefully fail, they deserved it. The whole religious revival was the result of the failed modernisation the Near East wanted, namely with those ideologies mentioned above - even if some might have preferred it in a democratised version. But what they got was neither, just corrupted regimes under the rule of the USA and under the regional hegemony of Israel. So they went back to the only common spiritual base which was left, which never died and could be never fully be subjugated, their religion. So began the revival and the massive politicisation-instrumentalisation of religion in the Near East. It was the last reserve and is the only overregional identity they have anyway after the Islamisation and the death of at least part secular Arab Nationalism.

Nasser in Egypt was the man for a secular Arab movement...what followed was Saudi Arabia with the support of the USA with all consequences, including Afghanistan, Chechnya and finally 9/11. Its the child of the stupid US-policy which didnt wanted a strong secular movement in the Arab countries, their ignorance, corruption and selfishness led to this spread of radical Islam, even Wahhabism.
With Saddam Hussein and the Baath party another collumn of rather secular Arabism was destroyed, probably they "achieve" the same in Syria...

A certain kind of legitimation through the people is one thing Liberal Democracy or even Liberalcapitalism another, people should keep that in mind. What the US-want and push others to is not simple Democracy which could have many forms, but a much more specific system which fits into what they have in mind with their One World idea and for the interests of their high finance and plutocratic oligarchy.
How often did they fought what nations decided democratically, by their people and helped undemocratic elements if it was in their interest, so thats all crap, they just want Liberalcapitalistic followers - but even worse than that, because they must be fully corrupted and just do what they want. Speaking about Democracy in the Near East, one should think of Mohammad Mossadegh in Iran, again, the Islamic revolution in Iran would have probably never happened without the brutal and selfish intervention there by the Western-Liberalcapitalists.
