Poll says most Muslims want to leave U.K.

LONDON, July 26 (UPI) -- Thousands of Muslims living in Britain have considered leaving the country, fearing reprisals after the July 7 London bombings, a poll indicates.

The title of this article misstates its purport. "Considering" whether they want to leave does not mean "wanting" to leave. That British muslims want to stay in Britain is evident from the fact that they stay there when they could leave. One can only wish that they did really want to leave.

They do indeed leave, to go and visit their relatives in Pakistan etc. unfortunately they also come back! It is a terrible dichotomy for them: they truly belong elsewhere, but the UK offers them the prosperity and freedom that their ancestral culture is unable to provide them. Even if thousands departed, they would keep their citizenship and return when things quietened down. Forced repatriation, with financial incentives if necessary, is the only way, even for third and fourth generations.
