Hello
Greetings, I have been reading various threads on this board for quite some time now and have decided to register. I am currently on cultural exchange program in the U.S. This is also good place to practice and use English, as it is the forum language. I am originally from Amur Region of Russia in Russian Far East. I have upheld what you may call nationalist oriented politics and for some time now but honestly feel somewhat intimidated by the seemingly unusually high intellect of the average forum member here. As I am sure you know, this alone is very rare on the internet. My personal perspective is that I do not possess the extensive knowledge of many people here but I hope to learn something while here. I also wanted to confess something as well. It may not be so relevant but I am an admitted former "White Nationalist". There were a great number of these in Blagoveshchensk and I swallowed a great portion of their propaganda throughout most of my teenage years. It took nearly three years to become utterly disillusioned with that ideaological spectrum or begin to dismantle various aspects of it and begin to view it in quite a negative view. I am certain that this will not bring with me any bonus points to the table here but felt the need to admit it for some reason. Well, that is all for now.

Welcome, Winter. There is no reason to feel intimidated if your intentions are to integrate into the community. Admittedly there is an often hostile rejection of the white nationalist type, but that's a must if we want to keep the community up to European standards.
We are not only aware of the ethnic and cultural diversity of Europeans, but we also celebrate this diversity and promote its preservation. Discussions are an exchange. We learn from each other and also learn about each other nations. There is no reason why you shouldn't fit in the community. Make yourself at home.

I think a big reason teenagers easily become white nationalists, is that most people around them use the same arguments against it again and again - and then it becomes easy for WN to seem as truth, while in reality its just a matter of political correctness versus anything else. Welcome.

I don't think you should feel intimidated. Everyone here seems to be quite friendly and understandable. I know for a fact I have learned a lot of things from this forum. Those that are not so nice...well, we give them an offer they can't refuse
