Stirpes - Great Website

Hello,

I have been reading threads and posting a little now and then for the past few weeks while trying to determine whether to become a regular visitor and poster to the website.

I post regularly on the forum Stormfront, which I'm sure all of you know. However, I am not the typical member and I have been looking for a forum like Stirpes with somewhat more "mature" members. The intelligence if the members here is really reflected in some of the forums, especially Anthropometrics.

I hope by being a member on this forum that I can learn as much as the other members here (who know everything).

No problem, but actually Stirpes is not European nationalist. It is more of a forum for the various national identities within Europe, which in being European still have a lot of concerns that can be shared in a constructive manner, as shared interests.

I think you realize that this forum is quite different from Stormfront and that it does not subscribe to or endorse such constructs like "whiteness", "West", "Judeo-Christian West". It's the nationalists from different European nations that gather here, whose allegiance lies with their their nation first and foremost and then with Europe as a wider civilizational and cultural frame.

Most members here also alien to the concept of pan-Europeanism, which posits Europe as a future melting-pot in which different nations would eventually converge, loosing their individualities and identities.

More often than not, the views and opinions of colonials are distorted by the lack contact with the reality of Europe, as well as by the mixing of their own concerns and interests which rarely coincide with the concerns and interests of nationalists in Europe.

I THINK I'm Germanic. Haven't done much research yet.

I'm just wondering. It seems you all recognise that Europe and Europeans are declining but do you get involved in Politics at all?

Welcome here. Just remember to focus on European issues rather than Australian ones on here and you should be fine ^^.

I can't participate in politics yet, I'm too young

edit: The reason why the pronoun "we" is not very good for this forum is that it makes too much of a generalisation, especially when talking about oneself as a part of one group. There is quite a diversity here on Stirpes (I'm English (so is OneEnglishNorman, Mynydd is Valencian, Plethon is Croatian, Seekers is Swedish, et cetera).

edit 2: How is it possible to be "slightly" Asatru? It's one of those things that one is or one isn't.

Yeah, I don't talk much about Australia even on Australian-oriented forums. Europe's much more interesting.

You don't need to be 18 to be politically active, just to vote.

One of the most integral political activities, in my opinion, is to vote. But in my opinion as well, Canadian politics are unimportant to me.
