The couple of retired Germans were knifed in their home and the safe was open
The corpses of a couple of retired Germans were found yesterday in their home in Moraira (Teulada, Alicante) after some neighbours noticed their absence. The man and his wife, 78 and 85 years old respectively, had been living in this coastal town for some time. It was one of the neighbours who saw one of the bodies on the floor who called the security forces. A few hours later the Policía Nacional detained a man of Romanian nationality in Madrid and charged them with the killings, after the Guardia Civil found his fingerprints.
Apparently, the suspect already had police records and the introduction of his details in the database shared by the Guardia Civil and Policía Nacional allowed the agends to detain him in Madrid.
