Belgian police detain nearly 200 after riots

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Police have detained nearly 200 youths after rioting in Brussels sparked by a simmering dispute between rival groups after a soccer match.


Police spokesman Gerald Noon says 26 people, including 14 police officers, were injured in the clashes late Friday. Officers believe troublemakers prearranged the confrontation over the Internet.

Noon says the violence stemmed from a confrontation last weekend between North African youths and fans of Anderlecht soccer club after it won the Belgian Cup Final.

He told VRT radio Saturday that further arrests could follow after investigators review camera footage to try to identify troublemakers.

What happened was, North African youth attacked a supporter of Anderlecht with the intention of stealing his wallet last weekend during the final of the Belgian Cup. Those Northern Africans got beaten up by a group of supporters for doing so. During this week muslim youth called for a violent confrontation with the 'white supporters' of football club Anderlecht on internet blogs (Anderlecht being an area of Brussels with a very high concentration of non European immigrants, mostly Islamic) Anderlecht supporters agreed to that invitation and during Friday evening supporters from other Flemish football clubs came to Anderlecht as support for the Anderlecht fans, including supporters from Ajax Amsterdam and Lille in northern France.

This is very interesting. I assume it was Flemish football fans who came to the support of Anderlecht's "white supporters"?

Of course the media wants to hide the ethnic aspect, as usual.

Yes, the support came from what I heard from two clubs from Antwerp and one from Mechelen, and well Lille in France being ethnically Flemish , but Anderlecht is a pred. French speaking part of Brussels with both ethnic Flemish (now French speaking, not all though) and French speaking Walloons forming the inhabitants.

Most fans of Anderlecht are Flemish to start with, from the province of East Flanders.

So the ethnic make up is basically Flemish (and some Dutch and French/Walloon?) vs. The Maghrebian colony?

On last Friday evening, riots broke out in the streets of Brussels between Moroccan youths and supporters of football club RSC Anderlecht. On Thursday evening, a blog had called for attacks on the "white" supporters of the club, and "to burn pubs, houses and cars."

The official story is that the problems began last Sunday, after the Belgian Cup Final between RSC Anderlecht and AA Gent. RSC Anderlecht won the Cup, but after the match its supporters and Moroccan youths had clashed near the metro station of Sint-Guido nearby the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium where the match was played. Since then, the atmosphere had been tense in and around the Brussels borough of Anderlecht, but on Thursday a blog was created on Blogspot calling for attacks on the "white" supporters of the football club and to burn pubs, houses and cars.
There may be more to this story than the media are telling us. In a reaction to a blog posting by an Anderlecht supporter, who uses the nickname da reflect, provides a clue to the reason why riots between Moroccans and supporters of Anderlecht broke out on Sunday evening: Someone, using the name RSCA SpideY, asks whether today's riots have something to do with "that Moroccan guy who tried to rob an Anderlecht supporter on Sunday evening and was beaten up by other RSC Anderlecht supporters afterwards." There is no confirmation of this story in the mainstream media, but they are not citing any other reason why riots broke out on Sunday.

Another interesting aspect of the story is that there is no information about the author of the inciting blog. It seems remarkable that the Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism (CEOOR, a government body) has not yet commented on the case yet since the posting clearly must have been in violation with the Belgian anti-discrimination laws. According to the press, the word "white" was specifically mentioned in the posting. One would expect that the CEOOR would leave no stone unturned to find out who the author is and bring him to court. Others have received warrants, in a "knock on the door" fashion for articles that were far less offensive or explicit, as the readers of this website know. I could not find the address or a copy of the blog posting, so I assume it has already been removed from Blogspot's servers.

Appeasement is not working

Well the current strategy is not working for us infidels, i.e. APPEASEMENT.
But it is working to the benefit of Islam.
People lose their free speech rights calling any justifiable criticism and/or truth spoken about Islam as "hate speech".

Moderate muslims can have their cake and eat it too. For example, an infidel gets beheaded or Muslims riot and they are silent, but put a cartoon of Mohammad in the newspaper and they march and riot. If it is true (and I don't believe it is true for I have read the Quran, parts of the Hadith, and seen its "fruit", and Islam to its core is violent, oppressive, bent on world domination, and requires submission), that some have "hijacked" the "Religion of Peace" then why aren't the moderates peacefully protesting in the streets against the "radicals" in Islam. Again they don't march or riot against those who have allegedly "hijacked" their faith, they march against infidels at any time they feel "insulted" and I note these people get EASILY insulted. Yet they are not "insulted" by the Radicals.

They have this "spirit" of superiority. A sickening arrogance. They make demands and EXPECT us to meet said demands. And sadly we have leaders that think we should meet their demands and/or appease them. It is amazing what Muslims get away with that a Christian or Buddhist could never get away with. Maybe it is because a Muslim will kill you or burn down your house, when a Christian or Buddhist won't and our leadership is rightly intimidated based on what we've seen from the "Religion of Peace". But when intimidated you don't bend over and grab your ankles, you take aggressive action and respond in such a way that they know that such intimidation tactics won't work. You confront them. They get aggressive, then you get more aggressive. Our governments are not protecting us from Islam. They are kowtowing. When there is a problem, they don't blame the true source of the problem, i.e. Islam, they blame themselves and anyone who speaks out against Islam.
Great question and/or request "traveller". I would love to hear this new "strategic" plan for the current one, i.e. appeasement, is a dismal failure....well at least for us infidels it is.

Honestly I don't expect Europe to survive unless it takes action that I dare not speak. There will either be submission to Islam or a civil war and unless the West is willing to get as vicious and yes "barbaric" as Muslims have and are willing to do, then I don't expect the West (Europe) to win.
America is not as far along as Europe is with this Islamic invasion, so I hope we will learn from what happens in Europe. Then hopefully, we won't take as long as Europe has to "remedy" the Islamic problem. The crusades have never ended. The invasion by Islam continues. So do we fight it? Or this time surrender? It seems our leaders has chosen to do the latter. But I don't believe the good people of Europe will. There will be a straw that will break the camel's back and when that happens then all hell will break lose. I'm rooting for the infidels.
