Default Romanian arrested for rape


Denmark, May 14 2008

A Romanian was arrested in Germany, having fled there after an "especially gruesome" rape of a girl in Aarhus, Denmark, and having attempted without succes to rape another woman. Hes being transferred to Denmark to face charges. Apparently he did not officially live anywhere in Aarhus, and didnt speak any Danish either.

I believe there is only a few thousand Romanians in Denmark at most. And yes, Romanians, like all other peoples of the world, commit crimes. Claiming that all Romanians who commit crimes in Western Europe are Gypsies is sadly very far from the truth.

Well, I think many of the criminal "Romanian" immigrants are indeed gypsies and not Romanians. I've known a few Romanian (immigrants), worked with a few too, and for the most part they did not have such criminality. So considering the misdeeds of gypsies there is a good likeliness this is a gypsie, too.

That doesnt mean it couldnt have been a Romanian in any way, of course.

Most "romanian" and "slavic" crimes reported in Italy are roma crimes .... it suffices to read newspapers carefully.

Actualy Slavic crimes probably refer mostly to Poles? I don't know from which Slavic country gypsies would emigrate to Italy...

Immigrants of Roma origin commit probably more crimes than ethnic Romanians. Though I wouldn't say rapes are their [Romas] speciality. Gypsies are notorious thieves, beggars, and so on, but rapists?
