Initial grant for training imams Government.nl February 2, 2005 Amsterdam Free University has been awarded an initial grant of 1.5 million euro to develop a master's programme for training Muslim clergy. The first students will begin in autumn 2005. In late 2004, Rutte called on Dutch universities to submit proposals for an Islamic training course. Four universities responded, but only Amsterdam Free University (the VU) will receive an initial grant. Rutte was impressed not only with the content of the VU's proposal but also with its long experience of Islamic education and its good contacts in the Islamic world. The first trainee imams will start studying in autumn 2005 and graduate in 2006. The initial grant will be used mainly to recruit teaching staff. Leiden University's proposal was, in Rutte's view, inconsistent with government policy. It was aimed at Turkish students from outside the Netherlands, whereas the government wants Dutch programmes for trainee imams to cater for students resident in the Netherlands - and not only those of Turkish parentage. The proposals by Groningen University and the University for Humanistics were also rejected. [source]

This is disgusting. First of all, it isn't the governments role, in my opinion, to fund religious programmes or institutions, let alone to fund schools in order to train new clergy. Second of all, they are training those that want their destruction or utter submitment to their religon. Perhaps they will read the words of their prophet in their shinny new class rooms of how they should smite all infedels who don't convert or pay the Jizya. To those that don't know, the Jizya is a tax on none-believes, that they must pay in order not to be killed - basically your paying the Islamic Mafia not to cut your head off. It's all in the Koran.
Some 'religion of peace'. Prediction: The more Imams that the Dutch train, the more moslims will be in the Netherlands. Then you'll start seeing the tolerance level for moslims drop. Though, by that time, it's too late because they're already too many. Hasta la vista, Europa. I'm surprised that this hasn't happened elsewhere already. Has it? |

Quote:
People should stop wasting their time with vague and unfounded accusations of Judeo-Christianism mainly directed against the Catholic Church, and focus instead on finding out the truth about Christianism and Judaism. Jews played an important role in the Schism of the Western Church and the birth of Protestantism in general and, much especially, in Protestant Calvinism. While it was true that the Catholic Church needed a reform, this was carried out by the Church itself and was known as the Counter-Reform. Instead, Protestantism broke with the Western, European tradition of the Catholic Church to reform Christianism from the Judaic tradition, the Old Books. I suggest that people read the early 20th century German Economist and Historian Werner Sombart's work, "Die Juden und das Wirtschaftsleben" (available in PDF format in English, "The Jews and Modern Capitalism" - if someone knows of a PDF original version in German, please let me know). Sombart magistrally exposes the links between Protestantism, and especially Calvinism, with Capitalism, putting the Jews at the core of these developments. The Catholic Church, far from being anything Judeo-Christian as people dumbly accuse her, has been the target of Judaism precisely because the Church has opposed Judaism as no other ideology has ever done. As a contrast, the official radio program of the Catholic Episcopal Conference here in Spain exposes and criticizes on almost a daily basis the madness of pro-Islamic infiltration in Spain and the EU.
