Damn, I find it hard to believe the whole lapmshade-made-of-skin and soap thingies but mankind is a sick and twisted bunch so I wouldn't discard some possible "horrors". After all, I guess you do believe there were camps made specifically to keep and dispose of ethnic/social/political minorities...or not?

Fair. But claiming that 6 million Jews were gassed during the war is at least an exaggeration. Also, claiming that "thousands" of people were gassed in a single day was just impossible given the circumstances.

I'm sure there were people murdered in the concentration camps, but there must have been a reason for it, name it the biggotry of some authority figure/s or (most likely) someone dissobeyed the orders of the authorities of the camps and was punished as a consecuence.

Whatever really happened back in those days, you can't deny that the whole issue has been manipulated in order to justify this current World Order imposed after the war, which we all "enjoy" nowadays...

I agree, if 6 millions Jews died, why there are so many survivors? How many jews were living in europe before the war and after?

I think they surely were relegated in concentration camps and left in desperate conditions where many died of diseases and the like..but that there was no plan of mass extermination.
And they were not alone.. also Gypsies, Communist, etc were imprisoned with them too, why nobody talks about them??

That was cruel but not so different from what the others did...for example the Russians did the same with the prisoner of war of the Axes.
Out of 100.000 Italians that died on the Russian front 70.000 died in concentration camps and only 30.000 in war!!

Of course harm came to Jews during the war; harm came to everyone in the most destructive war in history.

Of course there was a KZ system for the internment of political enemies and various other categories including Jews. There was also something called the Final Solution and it is very well documented. It was to be the eventual expulsion of all Jews from Western Europe. However, the gas chambers and gas vans are a myth. So also is the mass shooting of 1.5 million Jews in the East.

Good point. does anyone have any official demographics for pre-war and post-war Jewish populations? I think the whole "Oh my god, those evil Nazis!" thing is because the general idea is that Nazi Germany killed not only those who oppose the regime (enemies, both political and military) but they targeted a specific group (jews) for mass killing/virtual extinction. Keep in mind this is the prevalent idea, not my own.

Something else I have read was that such a "holocaust" was spoken about even prior to World War II. Here is a quote from The American Hebrew (New York, issue 582 of October 31, 1919):

"Six million men and women are dying ... eight hundred thousand children cry for bread. And this fate is upon them through no fault of their own, ... but through the awful tyranny of war and a bigoted lust for Jewish blood. In this threatened holocaust of human life ..."

I read somewhere that the concept of Jewish holocaust is something which Jewish literature has historically claimed, even centuries ago. Apparantly there was some report of billions of Jews having been massacred at a time when the entire human population didn't even exceed that amount
