I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the German surname? I heard that it was a Jewish last name which leads me to another question, do German-Jew surnames for Jews only or do Aryans share the same last names? Third question, dont expect much from this, anyone know anything about the surname Hyer? Thanks.

Hermann/Herrmann/Herman is a German name of Germanic origin.
