I might have known someone would ask me that. I'm not Jewish, my Christian name is Hebrew in it's origins, that's all. It's also a biblical name too, like most of my family. I tried searching the Celtic lists, but they sound paganish to me. Is Shoshannah too suspect? I don't want to be considered non-European.

BTW, someone sent me a message already, asking me where I'm from, but I've still to find out how to reply. Is there no way to communicate via PM in here?

Shannah is a Gaelic name I know that for sure, but google reveals Shoshannah is a Jewish name, but it could just be an altered form of Shannah.

Um, Shannah sounds like a good name then, Shoshannah is Hebrew, not Jewish, I don't think it's the same thing.

Okay, can I have this Jewish sounding name changed to Shannah, that sounds okay? It means "small but wise" too, so that sounds good too.

It takes 15+ posts (and 24 hours since registration) for the system to promote you to Junior Member and allow you to use PMs or to upload an avatar.

Since you are an old acquaintance, I've done it manually for good old times sake. But I don't know if the trick will work.
