Default Useful features have disappeared
We all know that every now and then small changes are made in the forum templates as I guess Mynydd is trying out new things on the forum, I just wanted to point out that a day or so ago in the area that I've signalled in the screen shot bellow there’s been a change.

Before you could see the new posts made and new reputation points received by just refreshing your page, now you can't, I was wondering if this could be put back to how it was before since it was very useful for the user.

Don't forget that we can no longer see the extra details on a persons postbit. Ethnicity etc.

Yes, it is some lines of code missing in the templates. I'll put them back as soon as possible.

And no, the "missing data" was something different. Maybe the loss of a couple of posts that had been made between the time that I made the last database backup, and the time at which I restored the database from that backup.

They don't. You were used to see the vertical postbit. Now you are using the horizontal postbit.

The next major release of the forums software is round the corner. It's at beta 5 stage of development. I don't look forward to it. They've made some changes towards what they call "Social Networking", which I don't think that they justify major changes.

I foresee a major headache.

Actually, the rep. comments system is used to spread reputation as well as to send a short comment without having to use the PM system. So it is not always a show-off of popularity.
