Nice picture.. but not. Few things compare with seeing the stars at night on an open and clean sky. Not easy with so much light polution.

Europe is pretty, even at night.
And look at France, the prettiest of all. I don't think anyone of us has ever seen the stars without any light pollution. It seems hard, looking at this picture.

Yes it is beautiful, it looks like a star system or a galaxy, and that is exactly what it is, the Europa galaxis. Any sailor may watch the stars unpolluted by lights, midatlantic. Being onboard a ship or a boat is a great advantage.
