The Irish are one of the most ancient nations that I know of at this end of the world, and are from as mighty a race as the world ever brought forth.
For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish.

The renaissance began in Ireland seven hundred years before it was known in Italy. And Armagh, the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland, was at one time the metropolis of civilisation.

Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation.

Why that? The nose is not a typical english "trumpet" nose. I just show a strong French phenotype. In fact, I change a lot wether it's summer time or winter. And it depends on pic too.

Ok, so it's only my view, don't you all jump on me, if you don't agree.

I would say it is something mostly Mediteranean combined with some elements I often see in the Hungarians living in Romania, I do not know how I may call that, perhaps Alpine and Dinarid and some Lappish.

For me, such a "cocktail" looks very interesting.

First, I do not believe there would be such a thing as "a strong French" phenotype, because France is big and phenotypes are variable. I do not believe a Breton looks like one from Provence, neither that a basque looks like one in Flandre.

Second, if I would see you on the street rush, like that, or to a party, I would first gather you a bit like the Middle Ages British young princes one can see in the American movies. But since this is no serious point of view and not based on this judgement, I would just ask you whether you came from the UK.

I was just kidding man. I know France a bit, I have just been living here for most of my life. But you're right. However some would say that typical French is mostly Alpinid-Atlantid (a flarourish cocktail isn't it? ). And when I see a guy in the streets I can tell you if he's French or not.
