Theobald, your thread is great !! How many rep-points i've given to you ?

I live near these zones...........(Italian side obviously). Time ago, i thought " i could start a thread where i post pics of natural landscape i'm familiar with (western Alps). "- But you have done it for me

O.K. perhaps, i'll post some pic of the "other" side...............yes, this thread is on the french alps, but the area is the same afterall; what means a recent political board in geographical facts ?

Perhaps you can start a new thread on Italian Alps. We have French and Bavarian Alps so far, so we'd also need Italian, Austrian and, why not, Swiss to add to the repertoire

P.S: Very nice views indeed, truly inspiring for hardcore alpinists

I have been to Torino (and Geneva) too, unfortunately I (or rather she ) didn't take pics there. Italian Alps are also very nice anyway, although in Italy I prefer going a little more in the South (Liguria, Toscana, ...)

I understand you prefer southern italy for a trip ; Northern is too similar to your homeland. What holiday would be ?

Toscana, Emilia-Romagna, Liguria ... are rather in Central Italy, the South (Napoli, Sicilia, ...) is too hot for me. I like Venezia too.
