Pictures from Kosovo and Metohija

Fellow members of Stirpes, I was on Kosovo and Metohija few days ago, to be more precise, on St.Vitus day, or Vidovdan, on 28.06.2008 for visiting Gazimestan, place of Kosovo battle between Serbians and Ottomans, to get humanitarian help for Serbs there, to see how my fellow Serbs are living in gettoes surrounded by barbwire, with water and electricity only few hours per day for the last 9 years and to visit holy places, some of them, of Serbian Orthodox church, monasteries Gracanica, Pecka Partrijasija and Visoki Decani, all three of them are on UNESCO list of monuments of world importance..Things I saw there, things I felt there..well, I hope these few pictures can describe it, because I hardly can... Pictures have some order, but i will give you some directions: 1) arrival and checking; 2) walls of monastery Gracanica; 3) monastery Gracanica; 4) near of monument of Gazimestan in the name of fallen Serbian knights; 5) field of battle; 6) half of the getto in Orahovac (half of Serbians free and only street); 7) on our way to monastery Pecka Patrijasija; 8) also; 9)beautiful Metohija; 10) in front of the gates of Pecka Patrijasija;...

11)Monastery Pecka Patrijasija;12)frescoes inside of monastery which shows life of that period (XIV and XV century);13)also,on the arch;14)sentry tower on our way to shrine Visoki Decani;15)Visoki Decani(i was trying to avoid that tree);16)Visoki Decani;..This is just small part of pictures i took there,i didn't won't to bore you(too much) and can only hope that you can see what they are trying to take from us,or to destroy it,they don't care,they just want to erase our culture,our history on Kosovo and Metohija,but erasing it there,they are going to erase whole Serbian culture,history,everything..and you know why?!? Because, KOSOVO IS SERBIA and SERBIA IS KOSOVO!!!After things i saw there,my only conclusion is that Kosovo and Metohija can be retaken only by war,and i really hope that is going to happen during my life time..
