The Most Beautiful German Words
As determined in a competition held by the German Language Council and the Goethe Institute in October of last year:
1. Habseligkeiten - (meager) belongings, possessionsAnd the favorite from the children: Libelle - dragonflyI find all of these quite beautiful, but my personal favorite is probably Augenblick - or, from the right person, lieben.
