Are you refering to inmigration or to people's idleness? If you are refering to the former, I disagree with your statement. If you are refering to the latter, I cannot but agree.

I am referring to both.
People's idleness is one of the main reasons for the mass immigrant influx.
Most people think that immigration is a great danger now, but it is but a pale shadow of what it can become. As the time passes, it will become more and more dangerous, and even hostile towards European lands, nations and cultures.
Can you imagine your country, or any other European country for that matter, several centuries in future?
I can. And what I see is Europe swarming with different peoples. I see Europe divided on "natives" and "newcomers", whereas the latter group is the most numerous one.
How can you fight a (young)majority, when you're on the side of the (elderly) minority?
No army can help you then.
A dark premonition indeed, but this can easily happen if the current negative trends continue.

Indeed. In that scenario, the army would make sure to sweep the native minority. I was thinking more about the usefulness of the army in the current scenario. If, for instance, the 21 million muslims that live in Russia decided to revolt, they could be controlled only through military means.

Especially when the army is mostly non-native, like it is the case in many French regiments now.
In the regiment where I did my "military service" (well, the parody of military service we have in France) most soldiers were Black people from the West Indies. Faithful to the French Republic, yes. But to the French Nation ...
