Egas Moniz (1884-1955) - portuguese neurologist, received the nobel prize in 1949 for his discovery of the therapeutic value of leucotomy in certain psychoses.   António Damásio António de Vasconcelos Xavier  Alexandre Quintanilha (father: portuguese, mother: german)  Pedro Nunes
