I believe that Oppenheimer's agenda is to overstate the Atlantic/West Mediterranean element in England, by taking Britain as a whole while minimizing the effect of the Saxons and other Germanics in what is today England.

Thanks for the comment, if I'll purchase it I'll keep in mind his overstimation of the Western and med. elements in Britannia
