Damn right I will! The head Sultana (or whatever they were called) or else!
![]() There was a Circassian singer going by the name Sultana who had made an album called Circassian Girl in Turkey at one time, by the way. ![]() ![]() Lives in New York now, interestingly enough. I guess that's where Istanbulite Circassian girls end up. ![]() |

Peaches, melons, oranges, tomatoes. As for food and drink: chicken in chocolate sauce, pizza, dim sun, sea food in general, liver, bread, cheese, onions, potatoes, cabbage, rice, strawberries, red wine, tequila, vodka, beer and coffee. Dislikes Milk as a drink, we have a horrible bottled mayonaise here that makes me cringe just to think about it, celery, lettuce, ginger. |

Who wants bottled mayonnaise when it only takes 5 minutes or less to make a full flavoured, fresh mayonnaise with nothing but a few natural products? Two eggs, olive oil, and salt. You can add a twist of lemon too.

Process the egg yolks in a food processor with the salt, mustard powder and half the lemon juice or vinegar until the yolks are pale. With the motor operating, gradually add the olive oil-start by pouring in a thin stream with the motor pulsing. As the mayonnaise begins to thicken, pour the oil in a steady stream with the motor running constantly. Stop the processing as soon as all the oil is added. Add the white pepper and more lemon juice or vinegar to taste. Add the water and process briefly. Transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate until required, or transfer to a sealed sterilised jar and keep for up to 1 month. so basically you are right! all it takes is egg yolks, oil and some flavourings. what i don't understand, and is quite frankly the reason i didnt believe your post is, how do they manage to cram so many calories in a jar of mayo when the basic ingredients are as above? ![]() |

What a great topic!
I live to eat.. I'm a typical Mediterranean! More often than not if you put something in front of me I'll eat it. I'm not picky at all. However, there are some foods I will NOT touch. I love all ethnic styles of cooking, especially Arabic, Mexican, Peruvian, Indian, Malaysian and Japanese. Some of the best food I've ever had was Afghani. I just love to eat. LOVE Garlic Onions Tomatoes Basil Potatoes any way Corned beef (no wonder I was born on an Irish holiday!) Most fruits and veggies esp. artichokes, broccoli rabe, parsley, finocchio, tenerume, eggplant, grapes, apples, strawberries Avocados! Rice Pasta chickpeas curries fish + all other seafood goat mozzarella spinach vastedda (I don't know the word for this in English, nor Italian) tripe scallions ice creams almonds mint parsley soups cilantro... yum! anything spicy HATE Bananas! Chocolate! Most cheeses! Coffee! Yuck! Typical American food (hot dogs, hamburgers) cottage cheese yoghurt sour cream cream of any kind, for that matter desserts (cakes, cookies, etc) I'm not a big meat eater but every now and then I enjoy a nice steak. ![]() |

Egg yolks are full of fat and olive oil, wonderful as it is, is also a lipid. Hence the high calories.
Prawns are insects of the sea! Insects have SIX legs and three body parts. Anyway I eat prawns and anything else which is proscribed by Jewish or Muslim food law. Well not everything, just pork, ham..... |
