What I dislike in general is what we call "Minestra", basically a soup in English I believe. Though I can take it occasionally. I prefer "Brodu" and "Soppa" to "Minestra" though. Come to think of it, all these Maltese dishes are actually of Italian origins. Rabbit done the Maltese way, fried or in a "Stuffat" is excellent. "Bragioli", probably another Italian thing, are simply excellent. I also adore Smoked Salmon and Seafood, and occasionally fish. I need to cut on the junk food, for health and political reasons (I feel guilty whenever I go to Mc. Donalds in haste, although to be fair they provide needed work for quite a few Maltese people) Pizza, in particular Capricciosa is a must.

Which reminds me, I should have also put McDonalds, KFC, Burger King products and such on my hate list. But then again, that's pseudo-food. |

Coffee. Yes I do like coffee. I don't drink it anymore because the caffeine started giving me headaches. Love the smell of ground coffee beans and freshly brewed coffee.
My apologies to all Maltese for misspelling stuffat. I have never been taught any Maltese. So correct spelling in that language is a problem. Bragioli or Bragjoli is the Maltese equivalent of Beef Olives. I like Ross il-Forn but I don't know how to make it. The Maltese like starchy foods like rice, bread and potatoes. Love beer. It is a staple in my house. Even those Egyptians had beer. |
