The only possible comparison in the cases of Northern Ireland and the Basque Country is in the Marxist element inside the IRA and the Marxist base in ETA.
Basque secesionists have nothing in common with Irish Republicans. If something, if there was a united Ireland, Basque secesionists would be comparable to Ulster secesionists. Quote:
