Default School Ban For Crucifix

Quote:
SCHOOL BAN FOR CRUCIFIX

By Steve Mccomish

EDUCATION chiefs were accused of discriminating against Christians yesterday after a school banned a teenager who wouldn't take off her crucifix.
GCSE student Sam Morris, 16, was ordered by her deputy head to remove the necklace and gold cross. He sent her home when she refused.

Sikh boys are allowed to wear bracelets called karas, which are compulsory under their religion.

But crucifixes come under a blanket ban on all other kinds of jewellery.

Derby City Council said: "It is lawful to ban crucifixes while allowing other religious symbols, but whether it is desirable is another matter."
Unbelievable?

Or expected from Masonic Britain?

Horrendous, this is the result of tolerance.

Tolerance for some has lead to intolerance for others. Here's another example:

Orders from Brussels: Spell Christ with a lower-case "c"

Did this happen in a "Catholic School"? Wouldn't suprise me these days.
I suppose they are falling into line with America. Soon even prayers will be banned in school.

Alas, Christianity cannot match the fanaticism of the Atheist religion

The Irish are one of the most ancient nations that I know of at this end of the world, and are from as mighty a race as the world ever brought forth.
For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish.
- Edmund Spenser (writer, and British Government Official in Ireland, AD 1596).

The renaissance began in Ireland seven hundred years before it was known in Italy. And Armagh, the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland, was at one time the metropolis of civilisation.
- Arsene Darmesteter, Professor of Old French and Literature

Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation.

You know this reminds of what I saw a weeks about the Catacomb period of the Ukrainian Catholic Church under the Communists. And one nun recounted about how the priest at her parish was arrested and then beaten to death. His crime? Leading a rosary prayer group in a public park.

Reminds me of stories of the Spanish civil war when Communist assault guards and others would raid seminaries, churches and monastries and try to force the religious to deny Christ in return for letting them live. Fiends.

And they are exporting the model to Spain by means of Zapatero, who is bashing the Catholicism although supporting the Judaism, Islamism and all the foreign religions except the True Spanish one.
