According to the local newspaper Sarkozy wants to keep paedophiles behind bars even after they served their penalty (article not published on the web site). Somewhat weird, increasing the penalty for a well defined category of crime would be a better solution I guess.

Anyway, even if Sarkozy wanted to keep them in prison after the end of their penalty the Constitutional Council (the highest Republican authority) would declare the law to be contrary to the Constitution and thus render it invalid. In a democracy the rights of the agressor are stronger than the rights of the victim.

Pharmaceutical companies rule the world nowadays and lobby the unimaginable, very successfully opiating the people. How else do the masses get tricked, except by the glorification of drug abuse? It is NOT normal, but degeneration is unfortunately common.

I've heard today a case of a child abuser here, with 12 charges of child sexual abuse who requested to be chemically castrated. The judges rejected his request.
Maybe if there were rapers with an inclination to sodomize judges, they would do something useful about it.

Just read on today's newspaper that every year in France, 100 convicts of sex related crimes are released from prison.
