Pathetic. Whoever justifies the death of anyone in such a way is completely sickening and possibly deserves death him/herself.
Women also have to be more safe when they travel. Women travel the world and think nothing is ever going to happen. They never take precautions. The world is a dangerous place, and when you are an European woman, it becomes even more dangerous..specially in African lands.

Destroying the country with tourism? What a joke! The Cabo Verde islands have nothing for natives to survive there. And well.. natives? ROFL! When the Portuguese discovered those islands in the XVth century they were not inhabited. Mainly for two reasons. One, because there were no natural resources there to survive.

Unsure? Take a look at the attached satellite image of the Cabo Verde islands and you will understand.

Except fishing but.. can you imagine Sub-Saharans (Blacks) arriving by sea to an island which is 500km away from the continent.. on their own? Well, that's the second reason why they were not inhabited.

Their income relies much on the few boats sailing south around Africa and, when the Alisian winds move south of the Canary Islands, a few more who sail there from the Canary Islands to then cross the Atlantic to Brazil.

I used to work with a woman who went to Belize on some charity programme to 'help' the natives. She was raped and killed out there in the jungle. The 21st Century is not a magical New Era where you can do as you please - the world's the same as it ever was, regardless of any political ideologies women may espouse that tell them this is not the case.
I would say the same to men wishing to go off 'backpacking' in Borneo or Laos or Kashmir or wherever, but at least their lot would be limited to a mere beheading by a machete. For a woman alone it doesn't bear thinking about.

I think that the multicultural propaganda can be blamed for this. The propaganda tells people that this countries are filled with very kind and hard working people who are wonderful and honest..so of course the women think they are in no danger when they visit.

Yes, and meanwhile simulataneously, unrealized by most, the same multi-culturalists tell those of the non-Occident lands about 'the evil European'. Now that you mention it, how many Sub-Saharans who have gained access to Europe and to European education and resources are seen going to Africa to help out their own people? In contrast, how many Europeans are in Africa helping out Blacks, despite the risks entailed to their own lifes? and how many have done it through history?

I've read some about that. From what I understand not too many...nor do I think the media particularly encourage much of that. Apparently that's what the everyday European people are for.

If you've read about that, I've actually seen it with my eyes. And, well.. as if it was a cruel joke of destiny, it involved an Italian wanting to help the people from Cabo Verde. Guess what? while the Italian worked hard towards organizing help to be sent to Cabo Verde, the Cabo Verdian immigrants he contacted spent their time partying.
