Thumbs down Mother's Day Banned At Welsh School

Mother\'s Day Banned at Welsh School

Quote:
Helen Starkey, the headteacher at Johnstown Primary in Wales, has announced that students will be banned from making Mother's Day cards this year out of respect for the 5% of the students at the school who are living without mothers.
Mrs Starkey said: "They [the five per cent] include children who have been bereaved, children whose parents are separated and are not domiciled with their mothers, and children who have been removed from parental care by statutory bodies."

Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation.

I feel sorry for the children who have lost their mothers (or their fathers). It's a tragedy for a child.

But that woman is nuts. She is an isolated case, but think of the day when there are children who are adopted by gay couples.. I don't want to give ideas, yet I'm sure that they will come up with it at some point.

Also, what if some children have a disability which prevents them from doing exercise? Should sports be banned for the rest?

I'm sure the child's mother will surely feel appreciated!

The idiocy is laid out in all it's horrid clarity right here :-

Quote:
students will be banned from making Mother's Day cards this year out of respect for the 5% of the students at the school who are living without mothers.
In otherwords, the 95% will suffer for the 5%. The many will suffer for the "needs" of the few.

I don't understand why these people bother with these flimsy excuses anymore.
They simply hate natural relationships, they hate parents, they hate kids and they hate families. Why bother to come up with a pretense for their attacks anymore?

I wonder if Ms Starkey has a family

Someone behind scenes is spreading and imposing this idiotoc philosophy of political correctness at every possible level.
Every time I think that they have reached the bottom and cannot fall any lower, there comes up another case that dissuades me.

The common theme seems to be the elimination of loyalties.
Thus they destroy the ethnic group, the culture, the nation, and the family.
Ultimately, people will have to render love/loyalty to the state/employer as it will have nowhere else to go.

Once accomplished, the world will be full of malleable, obedient drones.

They will, but I believe the goal is to re-direct those loyalties and channel them towards something more "desirable".

Hahaha! That is a misnomer. In truth, it is an employers utopia. It is the utopia of the elite. You will see that the goals of Capitalism and Communism are one and the same, only the methods differ.

The founder of Sinn Fein made this clear when he said:-

Take a look at books such as Huxley's Brave New World and Orwell's 1984 for a glimpse of our future.
Such a world is already underway. The society of Huxley's family-less test tube babies & Orwell's deceptive Big Brother is already part of our lives today, even though they were simply considered sci-fi at the time of their writing.

Perhaps not quite, but certainly independent thoughts or emotions which can't be controlled and manipulated will be considered pathological by our erstwhile masters.
The Information Age is already giving way to the Age of Social Engineering.

I guess the move is just taken to set the turf smooth for gay adoptions.

That might very well be the case.
Of course, gay adoptions is simply another method of attacking the concept of the family in the first place

It also goes against the principle of adoption, which is the well-being of the adopted child. Notice how the arguments in favour of gay adoption evolve around an alleged right of the adoptees, not of the adopted.

In other words, the adopted child becomes an object to complement the desire of gays to fake a true family.

Indeed. The child becomes merely a commodity too, which fits in with their apparent goal to reduce mankind to the status of animals.

Well maybe they could combine the two into "parent day" and say "well if you have two mommies then write "happy mother's day" but if you have two daddies then write "happy father's day" but if you have two mummies/daddies then write "happy mother's/father's day""....

I never noticed this when my mother is working (she's a social worker). It's all about if the adoptees are suitable for the adopted... police checks, medical records... you name it, she has to get it.

Kind of like people who get a dog not to have a dog but to have a child but not a child?
