I was hoping I wouldn't have to clarify a point I already thought was clear. When I said I'm not worried, its because I don't perceive a threat. This fellow however isn't worried (though he perceives a threat) as far as Finnish is concerned, i.e. he doesn't care. This is somewhat saddening on a forum for European nationalists.

There is much to argue about what being pro-European and Nationalist is and how.. in fact even about what Europe really is.

But to make short a long story, since it is obvious that a bond cannot be built on full trust grounds, then at least it must be on grounds of do et des. Which are, of course, shaky grounds.

I think the details are debatable. The big picture is there. In my opinion.

Of course, I suspect Carnyx's comment was more of a 'back-at-you' because I'm not overtly shocked about the loss of status of French as an international language.

I'm sure that deep down he carries a worry in his heart over this small, yet brave and courageous people that dwells on the northern extremities of his continent (and their language).
