Conceivable Muslim Federal President

The minister for interiour affairs in the state of Hesse, Volker Bouffier, says it is conceivable for him to have an "integrated" Muslim as head of state for the Federal Republic of Germany.
He states Germans have enormous decifits with integrating foreigners. The German society has to fight for the minds and to enforce several basic values. The arise of parallel societies has to be prevented. In this context a term "leading culture" is appropriate.

Bouffier is in favour of a clear drawing of lines. "In Germany German laws are in force, and not Sharia laws, here man and women are equal, school is obligatory, we do not accept traditional honour concepts and the state has the monopoly of force."

"I do not want Germany to become a Muslim state like the way we experience the current Muslim states to be" said Bouffier. Islams' claim to be a model for a state is unaceptible.

In the past wrong developements in the integration policy have been tolerated, Bouffier said. These are to be encountered with dual measures. Everyone to be integrated has to be made a fair offer, that has to be accepted then. Obligatory schooling and integration through sports are important measures the state of Hesse introduced.

This ugly Huguenot of the Christian Democratic Union party can be very very glad he currently can not be impeached since German laws are overruled by illegal federal laws. As of his ideas, it is the typical christian-democrat nonsense: I do not like this and that, I want this without offending that and I want all without moving a finger or turning a stone since taking decisions is extremist and I'm a moderate, so I do not act but I have talked an entire interview without proposing the littlest bit of action.

But this man is terribly logically inconsistent. He says he doesn't want a Muslim Germany, on the other hand he states he would have no objections to a Muslim president of the Republic. How come?
