Pig tactics threatened

Norwegian anti-immigration politicians in Bergen have promised to chase off Muslims with pigs feet and squealing noises if Bergen's central square is used for prayers.

The leader of the Demokratene, an extreme populist party formed by outcasts of the populist Progress Party, Vidar Kleppe, said Wednesday that he backed the remarks of city council representative Kenneth Rasmussen.
Rasmussen reacted with threats of porcine tactics after Labour Party politician Jerad Abdelmajid said that the city's Muslims could take their Friday prayers in Torgallmenningen, Bergen's central square, when they will be without a mosque from March 31. Building of a new mosque is behind schedule.
Abdelmajid's announcement provoked heated public debate.
"I completely agree with Kenneth Rasmussen that Muslims having their Friday prayers with their butts in the air in the city center is no solution. They can find other places," Kleppe told news agency NTB.
Kenneth Rasmussen told newspaper Dagbladet's web site that Bergen residents should hang up pig's feet and play pig squeals over loudspeakers to scare off Muslims, and claimed these tactics worked when he was a soldier for the United Nations in Somalia and Lebanon in the 1990s.
Kleppe was willing to admit that this was provocative, but that it was correct of his party colleague to propose vigorous solutions.
"It is healthy with lively debates... his main point is surely that Bergen's residents do not appreciate Friday prayers in the city's main square," Kleppe said.
"This will do more damage than good. A threat does not justify another threat, no matter who proposes it," entrepreneur Shahzad Rana told newspaper VG. "Here there have been provocations from both sides. Is it not possible for them to sit down and talk?" Rana asked.

Also, there is a leather made of pig's skin which is pretty good and much cheaper than leather from bovines. We call it serraje.

Pigs have been used by police for their fine olfactory sense, instead of dogs. Think of wild pigs and wild boars, who search for truffles. It shouldn't be too hard to train a pig to search for hash or other drugs.

I had heard there is a "pig dance" done at Serbian or Macedonian weddings to scare away any Turks who may be near. I'm not sure how true this is.

Well we say "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" so maybe "a sausage a day keeps the Muslim away" is true too.

Also, it is now the Chinese Year of the Golden Pig, so maybe the world's horoscope is good for dealing with Muslim migration.

In Hungary, during the Turkish rule, Christians used lard to keep the Turks away. If they transported something on a carriage and didn't want Turks to inspect it, they would put lard on carriage and Turks would't even dare to approach the vehicle (so the story goes)

Pork was very important in Spain as it presented evidence of being Cristiano Viejo (Old Christian). You surely have heard of the Marranos, the Jews who converted to Christianism in Spain to avoid the expulsion after 1492. They are also known as Cryptojews. Marrano, by the way, is synonymous of pig.

Refusing to eat pork was reason enough to be reported to the Inquisition.

In Valencia, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands there is a traditional festival celebrated on January 17th, in honour of Sant Antoni Abat, better known in these lands as Sant Antoni del porquet (St. Anthony of the little pork). He is the saint protector of the home, farm and labour animals and he is represented with a little pig at his feet.

The festival includes the blessing of such animals by the local priest to protect them from diseases, followed by different celebrations around fires. Indeed this looks as yet another pagan tradition preserved through Christianism.

Anyway, this used to be an important celebration in rural areas which could now become extinct as traditional ways vanish and such animals are no longer of importance for their economies, and as Christianism declines.

Strange how it is Christians who follow the ancient pagan rites. Ancient pagan traditions will die with Christianism while neo-Pagans have their mouths full with nonesense.

Maybe Sant Antoni's Day could be saved as a symbol of rejection of Islam and Judaism.

The Macedonian Pig Dance

A Traditional Macedonian Wedding Customby Ted Nitchov

The "pig dance" or as many know it as "so bishkata" (which translates to "with the pig") is a Macedonian tradition performed during the wedding reception. As with many cultures the bride and groom select a numko and numka(pronounced "noomko" and "noomka") which are commonly referred to as godparents. These two people play a very special role in the upcoming life of the bride and groom.

After the marriage ceremony family and friends attend a reception hosted by the newlywed couple and their parents. One of the many traditions performed at the reception is the Macedonian pig dance. The main reason behind this dance is to allow the kum and kuma to "pay for their meal" which consisted of a cooked pig and in previous generations a chicken (it is now common to have a full course meal for the guests which includes many more items but also includes the cooked pig).

The pig dance is commonly performed by the males in the wedding party and any relatives or friends with enough courage to "perform" in front of the guests. The band begins to play the song "Ajde Kume, Kume" (which means "Come on godfather, godfather...") and those performing the dance begin to enter the area, one of which carries the baked pig attractively dressed with other foods. Many are clothed in various Macedonian costumes, most in modern times simply take off their jackets, raise their pants and tie various cloths around their legs, head, and arms. Most are holding bottles of wine, and forks and knives to cut the pig with. As they enter the area where the kum and kyma are seated they dance and yell, offering them their meal in exchange for money. They also offer wine to the kum and continue to sing, dance and whistle. It is also at this point that many other guests also contribute to the meal in exchange for a piece of the pig's meat.

It is not until the bearers of the pig (ie. the ones carrying it) are satisfied that the kum has sufficiently paid for his meal that they leave the room ending the dance.

It can also be noted that some "Greek" weddings perform this ritual as well. It can also be noted that the families that perform this ritual originate from northern Greece (Aegean Macedonia) and that those originating from the south and islands do not perform this. The reason this happens is because many Macedonians from northern Greece are assimilated into the Greek culture and bring along with them ancient Macedonian customs. This custom is peformed by Macedonians in Aegean Macedonia (northern Greece), those in Pirin Macedonia (southwestern Bulgaria), Prespa (parts of eastern Albania) and Vardar Macedonia (the Republic of Macedonia).

In Italy, during Middle Ages, Antonian monks were owners of large pig cattles, which were branded with a T (Saint Anthony's Cross).

All countries in europe should do as some schools in Serbia's Sandzak (region close to Bosnia bordering Kosovo with Muslim majority) did, and that is serve pork to students regardless of religous affiliation. I find it funny how muslim parents contacted some stupid NGOs saying that their human rights were violated? an article I obtained about it is below:

Serbia's Helsinki human rights committee in Belgrade is protesting the policy of serving pork in kindergartens that include Muslim children.

The committee supported protests by parents of Muslim children attending a daycare facility in Nova Varos, in southwestern Serbia, a region inhabited by mainly Bosnian and Serbian Muslims.

It called on Serbian authorities to abandon the "discriminating practice" and to introduce the respect of cultural and religious characteristics of all citizens in Serbia, the report said.

I've heard of the pig dance. But do you know what else is better, doing what my cousin did. My cousin lives in Sarajevo, Bosnia and the city has become something like 80%+ muslim since 1988 (up from high 40%) and he told me that during the Muslim month of Ramadan when they're not suppossed to eat during the day he would purposelly take pork and tempt muslims with it and that he actually got a couple dozen to eat pork.

Not only that but pig organs are closer to those of humans then those of apes. Usually if some one needs a heart transplant a pig's heart is used.
