Polish Immigrants Crime in Spain

Often overlooked due the attention to the crimes committed by North African and South American immigrants, the crimes of Polish immigrants is of no lesser significance. Some examples.

A 50 year old woman and a man between 40 and 45 years old, both Polish, were killed in Móstoles (Madrid) as a consequence of multiple knife wounds caused by the attack of a Polish compatriot. A third Polish male, also wounded.

The Local Police of Alcorcón detained two Polish immigrants who cut the throat of a man and killed him on the street.

The two men in custody are Darvisz L. and Mareck Thomas S., both 35 years old Polish. The former is the presumed aggressor and, according to the version offered by the neighbours, he used a 25 cm. long knife to cut the throat of the victim.

The neighbours explained that, minutes after midnight, they heard three men arguing loud on the street. The argument heated up until Darvisz L., while being observed by Mareck Thomas S., drew a knife, grabbed the victim and cut his neck.

Alejandro Muñoz fell on the ground while the two Poles left any of them on one different direction. When the police arrived, they found the victim over a big pond of blood and on a critical state. The policemen decided to take him quickly to hospital in their own vehicle, where he died after a cardio-respiratory failure, from which the doctors could not save him.

In the meantime, other policemen were on the streets after the murderers. Darvisz L. had escaped through a street, but in the run he forgot to throw the knife stained with the blood of the victim, which made it easy for the policemen to identify him. They chased him and, after a brief resistance, he was detained.

His partner in crime, Mareck Thomas S., ran away through a different street. But the policemen spotted him and surrounded him. He offered much resistance and he even threatened the policemen with a knife that he had hidden on the back. Finally, he was reducted and detained.

Five Polish immigrants detained for killing a man whose corpse was found cut into pieces in the rubbish bin

The National Police detained five Polish immigrants in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, for the death of a man whose arms, legs and head were found cut apart from the main body inside a sports bag in a rubbish container on the street.

According to the speaker of the Police, the men in custody are 37 y/o roman S., 32 y/o Jacker H., 40 y/o Artur B., 31 y/o Rober R., and 37 y/o Jaroslaw S. The two first Poles had previous criminal records.

The police speaker also informed that the Scientific Brigade gave the investigators information about the two identities used by the victim.

One such identity was Oleg N., a 38 y/o Russian with police records for a robbery in Malaga in 2001. The other identity was Mykola S., a 39 y/o Ukrainian with police records for breaking the Immigration Laws, threats, and an attempt to attack a policeman.

Nonetheless, the police agents have not yet determined if the real identity of the victim was any of the aforesaid.

Until present, the cause of the death and of the mutilation of the corpse are still unknown, although the police does not discard that it could be due to a revenge.

Three Polish immigrants kidnap and old British woman

Member of the Guardia Civil of Alicante organized yesterday a deployment in the area of the coast town of Moraira, Alicante, after a 78 years old British citizen requested help to the employees of a bank to rescue his wife, a 65 year old woman, who had been kidnapped by three Polish citizens.

Apparently, the events took place past the 8.00 hours yesterday, when the British citizen went to the local branch of the Barclays Bank in the town, and handed a cheque with a value of 35,000 euros.

However, the employee realized that there was a message written on the back of the cheque, asking that they gave him the money because some individuals had his wife kidnapped inside his house. The employee warned the Guardia Civil immediately.

Police sources explained that the kidnap started on Thursday night, when three armed Polish men entered the house of the British couple.

After intimidating the old couple and beating them up severely, the kidnappers demanded a ransom and forced the man to go to the bank to draw all the money he could get.

How many Poles are there in Spain?

Too many to my taste and, apparently, we have overlooked the problem that the Poles represent. Fortunately, some of their crimes include killing each other like in one of the cases above, a case of a Polish immigrant who killed another Polish immigrant a few weeks ago (I haven't been able to find it on the internet, yet), or the case of the two Polish immigrants who kidnapped a Polish couple in Alicante, and held them during 22 days during which they were tortured, for a ransom.

One killed and another badly wounded after being beaten by a gang of Polish immigrants in Alcalá

A gang of immigrants, presumably Polish immigrants, beat to death yesterday a man and wounded another during a vendetta after they had been thrown out of a bar a few hours earlier, in Alcalá de Henares.

The identity of the aggressors is still unknown, but the police has determined the area of Alcalá de Henares where they live. The events took place around the 22.30 hours of Tuesday in a bar full of people watching the football match between Bayern Munic and Real Madrid on TV.

Four foreign youths entered the bar, and the owner seemed to identify them as the same people who had stolen several bottles of alcoholic beverages from the magazine on another occasion.

"We were watching the match and the youths, who had been here before and had stolen some bottles, came in. I told my sister to lock the magazine and, as she was going there, she found one of them already inside it. They struggled and my sister cried that they were stealing. The Polish guy pushed her and ran away, but the customers stopped him. There was some struggle and we threw him out together with the other foreign youths", said the owner.

According to police sources, there was more than just a struggle in the bar. Some witnesses told that the customers aggreded them and one of the Poles was even bleeding as he was thrown out of the premises.

Instead of going away, they waited outside the bar until the match was over. Another four Polish youths joined them in the meantime.

"After the match, my two sons, the girlfriend of one of them and Francisco were the last in leaving. The Poles must have been hidden and when they turned the road a group of seven or eight youths fell over them", said the father of one of the assaulted youths.

"They attacked them from the back. They must have identified my son Rafa from his t-shirt, because they went for him. My other son, Ricardo, was attacked later when he tried to help his brother. My son Ricardo can't explain how it was, it all happened in a matter of seconds. He took his girlfriend away, safe from the Poles, and when he came to help Francisco he had already been killed by the beating."

Sure. Reasonable and intelligent European has no problem finding job and raising children in his own country. There are some exceptions (usually with phd studies, works in high tech sector etc).

Do you mean only the worst people of East Europe emigrate? Curious, in South America Eastern European immigration was a good contribution to the economy and culture. Other times?

I tend to think that nowadays only the East European underclass (a product of combined forces of Communism and Neoliberal Capitalism) has propensity to emigrate. Maybe some well-educated experts come too, but nobody complains about them because they don't make any trouble. With time they either integrate or return to their countries of origin with earned money.

Those immigrants to south America, that you are talking about, came from much healthier societies, not yet ruined by the Communism-Capitalism.
