I hardly ever get out of my state and almost never out of this country, except my regular coffee shopping tours to the Netherlands and some one day trips to Belgium. Been to London a few times, but only for hours, Brussels for a weekend and Austria only for functions with a budy schedule so that I hardly ever saw anything but the road, railway station or airport - and congress centers from the inside.
Most of my vacations all were in the 70s and I have no active memory of them. I've been to Vancouver during the Expo 1986 and to the U.S. with the army, meaning I only saw the airport and some North Carolina barracks from the inside. Saw some Greek isles as well but preferred to stay indoors where it was cooler. The only time I have been to France was when I did not get the ferry in Dunkirk and we had to get to Le Havre, I think. The second incident was when I was parachuting in Saarlouis and heavy winds made us end up a few miles into France. I remember we had to deal with some stupid French cops and it took a several hours to get back the few kilometers to the saar, as nobody had their ID with them. Won't happen to me again ever. Germany I know pretty well cursory, but there are a few places I'd like to hike through if I had the time (which I don't, my last vacation was in '87).

AgreedGreece; just as Joermungand my number 1 country 1 time i traveled through the whole country and a couple of years before that, spend my holidays on the island of evia. Great temperature, great food, great nature. Germany: if been to bremen, dusseldorf, keulen etc. Nothing to special, just nice western country, everything is great organized (less but better then in the netherlands) But the beer sucks, really bad. Netherlands: love the northern regions, especially the frisian islands and the nature in Drenthe. Great-britain: been to london. Nothing to special in my opinion. wanst really impressed by london, for exemple big ben was alot smaler than i had imagined, for real i can say i was disappointed. Austria: been to Vienna great architecture. Hungaria: poor, seen budapest, poor... Roemenia: same as hungaria, poor but even worse, the cities are average, but the countryside wasn't (i been in a mountain region doesn't know how it is for the rest of the country) France: not my favorit country, seen paris, the center of the city (just like most capitals) is beautiful, but don't get me started on the suburbs, these are real ghettos. a shame really. But the southeast of france is very lovely. too young: Italy, Spain, Denmark, Canada.

Estonia: Great food, nice prices, cheap booze. People everywhere except in the capital are very friendly.
Russia: Only been to Vyborg and St. Pete. Vyborg is a rotting dungheap that should be returned to its rightful owners (i.e. Finns) before it falls apart totally. St. Pete is a great place in every way. Latvia: Great food, great beer, amazingly beautiful women. Sweden: Stockholm is alternatively boring and way too multicultural. Gothenburg is a nice city and they seem less inclined to hate Finns there. Norway: Oslo = multikulti hellhole. Bergen is a very beautiful and peaceful place. As everyone knows everything in Norway is terribly expensive. Denmark: Southern charm, northern efficiency, the ideal climate for me. There's nothing about that country I don't like. England: Only been to London. Too big and hectic for me. Very rude people. I'd like to visit the English countryside and other cities though. Scotland: A great country, a great people. The people can be a bit aggressive if they're drunk. Spain: Only visited the tourist areas in the south. Don't like them. I'd like visit Catalonia someday though. Portugal: Too hot, too black, too poor. Nice port wine though. Italy: Overrated. Horrible people, 3rd world morals. Even the food is not that great. Israel: Interesting places, great sights, the people are friendly and helpful. Egypt: Camel dung. A horrible place. Chile & Bolivia: Slums and mestizoes who think they are white. Brazil: Nice place to visit, horrible place to live. Argentina: The best country in Latin America. Civillised people, nice food and culture. Indonesia: Probably the worst country on Earth (I suppose i say this because I've never been to Africa). Nothing works, the people are trash, the climate is horrible, etc etc Singapore: Probably the world's only multicultural fascist state. Dull but efficient. What's it with Israel?
There's a lot of places I'd like to visit all over the world before going there. That's definitley not a place that attracts me.

I have no interest in seeing Israel or any other country in that part of the world. Never really interested me. Actually all of Asia belongs to that group, for some reason I just don't want to go there. Maybe if I learn about the various cultures a bit more I'll change my mind.
Of all (non-European) places, I would like to visit south and central America, but I'm not really dying to go there. |

By the way, some sources inform me that I have forgotten to mention the Greek guys.
True, I have seen some fine specimens out at the beach club and whatnot. On a general note, Greek guys and girls look quite remarkable, also due to the fact that they dress as if they're out of Italian fashion magazines. Never have I seen (that is, outside Italy itself) that much Italian designer wear on people, I felt like a silly American tourist with white sneakers (which I didn't have, obviously) around these guys. I'm talking about daily wear too (like going out for a morning coffee), not just for dressing up for the night. While the guys look quite fine with all the, well, finery; I think most girls were over doing it a bit, especially in the make-up department. Generally both sexes were quite good looking, certainly above average as a whole. Anyway, go to a beach club in Athens around Glyfada and see for yourselves. Not for the faint hearted and the openly jealous. Ahem. ![]() |

Cuba is great. They really like "Yugoslavs", all Slavs in general, and to them Yugoslavia still exists as a country
