Default France or Spain?

I am planning to take a quick trip in March for traveling. About a week or so. I am trying to decide which one is more worthy and a better visit. If I go to Spain, I will probably be in Barcelona or Madrid. If I go to France...I will probably be in Paris
I am just wondering what activities can be recommended while I am there..historical monuments, museums, tourist attractions, etc

Provence is maybe more interesting than Paris, it has great many Roman monuments.

I guess you alrealdy know my answer.

Well, if you are interested in history I advise you the Army Museum (Musée des Invalides). It took me almost two days to visit it entirely. The best museum in my opinion. Then you have the art museum Orsay, the science museum Cité des Sciences-La Villette... and of course the Louvre museum.

As for monuments... the Eiffel Tower, the Notre-Dame cathedral, the palace of Versailles, the Arc de Triomphe, the Panthéon, the Sacré-Coeur ... More there.
A trip in a "fly-boat" (bateau-mouche) on the Seine river is impossible to circumvent as well.

Tourist attractions ? You mean like our EuroDisney or Asterix Park ?

Around Paris you can also visit the Loire castels, Normandy (everything about D-Day), the Mont Saint-Michel or the Chantilly castel. There are daily excursions.

If there is a girl with you, you also have the famous Haussman stores and the Champs-Elysées, Paris is a shopping paradise... though I would not advice you to do it without a Gold or Platinum card...
Not to forget about Parisian restaurants.

Also, Paris is the only city in which you can visit Alger, Bamako and Istanbul at the same time without leaving the European soil : Barbès.

However I will be honest. I advice you to visit Madrid if :
- you want to party
- you want to be in a mostly "White" city.

But if you are only interested in cultural and historical things, go for Paris. And visit Madrid next year...

Yeah, Barbès, la Goutte d'Or, Belleville... So typical.

Are you visiting alone?

haha Galaico you are silly
But I am going with my father most likely, maybe a friend who is male. I am not much into partying, so it seems that so far Paris is the better pick.

The Irish are one of the most ancient nations that I know of at this end of the world, and are from as mighty a race as the world ever brought forth.
For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish.
- Edmund Spenser (writer, and British Government Official in Ireland, AD 1596).

The renaissance began in Ireland seven hundred years before it was known in Italy. And Armagh, the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland, was at one time the metropolis of civilisation.
- Arsene Darmesteter, Professor of Old French and Literature

Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation.

Eurodisney..my aunt and her husband and kids went there about 3 summers ago. They said it was beyond boring and no one really enjoyed it. They said the kids had more fun when they left and were around the surrounding cities and towns.

Ok, so I'll highly recommend you visit, besides monuments and museums, the most colonised areas of today "Pawis", to have an idea of what the future is to look like everywhere else.

I can confirm that is true. Even the American Disneyworld was more entertaining. I believe Eurodisney was America's sercet weapon against the French. Now a giant sphere of tediousness will eminate from that site and slowly destroy all of France. Those damned bastards!

If that's the name of the Red Light district, then I saw that too.
Quite by accident, obviously
