Mass migration due to global warming predicted.

Mark Lynas paints a grim view of Europe after a rise in global warming of just 2 degrees.

One less expected effect of Arctic ice melting is the release of fresh water which would incide on the direction of the streams in the North Atlantic, which would in turn bring lower temperatures to Europe.
