I was recently helping one of my friends prepare his documentation for teaching in Canada. The powers that be now require transcripts from tertiary education establishments to be sent directly to them for accreditation. Now a letter is required from every juristiction that a person was allowed to work even though the person may have never worked there.
Basically today you have to prove that you are not a camel. Innocence is not a given. But the main reason for these hurdles in documetation is because of the ammount of false documents that are out there. Basically one can get virtually any documentatuion one wants, and as a result everyone suffers. This basically deflates the value of any documents that one may have. |
