Default Cromagnid samples from Ripley.

From Willian Z. Ripley. Ph D. "THE RACES OF EUROPE. A SOCIOLOGICAL STUDY".

Three examples classified as Teutonics according to his system:

The last one was categorized as Faelid or predominantly Faelid according to Günther:

According to Ripley this man is Norwegian, but Fischer presented him as Swede in his lexicon.

In his plate list he also included one titled "cro-magnon types"
Crô-Magnon Types

Probably not "Cro-Magnon" in the sense Agrippa, for example, uses it. Probably just in the sense of being similar to the Cro-Magnon skull itself.

His Teutonic classification strikes me as weak, and founded on impression rather than morphological observations, it seems to encompass all "Germanic" looking types, whatever that means.
