I buy my own software but I have used Bittorrent to download some politically incorrect material. The movie Birth of a Nation, for example.

i hate p2p programs :/ but i use DC++ (these transfers ... 2kB/s to 56 kB/s ), but today i dont know any good hub, all are down
I rather likes files from Rapidshare/Megaupload etc.

I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. I use slsk, which is great for different kinds of music that I enjoy, mainly classical, modern composition, folk music and experimental music of various styles.
