Yes, looks like a great and entertaining movie of course. The historic relevance anc correctness should be rather low if considering the background however.

Definitely it's not historic movie. Don't go to this movie if you want to educate yourself on history of the Ancient Greece.
It's entertaining movie inspired by historical events.

I thought it was a really sweet movie. Not historically accurate, but seemed to be more related to myth. Of course, the fact it was a graphic novel first gave it an excuse to be stylized.

I saw a pretty pro-White message in it, too, which adds some to the movie. Anyone else notice this?

I thought it was well done. Those computer guys must be so tired though.

White isn't a race. And trying to read political messages into films based on comic books is kind of silly, don't you think?

I haven't watched the movie as it still is not in theatres here in Spain. I have the comic though and have watched quite a lot of trailers.

It is not a historical movie, it only has a historical base, but it is pure fantasy, it is fun, but completely unreliable from a historical point of view.

Pro-White? I'm not very sure about it, the good guys are white and the bad ones black, but I think it is more Afro-Centric than anything else. How on earth did Miller figure that Persians were Negroid/Mullatoid, I mean, everyone knows they were completely Caucasoid. I'm just waiting for some African-Americans to start claiming the "blackness" of the Persian Empire, and how Europeans have been manipulating Ancient History.
