I personally think that the effects were the movie's greatest asset [] , along with Tim Robbins [] ( the lunatic that was killed by Cruise ) . Tom Cruise, untalented as always, did not convince me a moment. And the end is fully Americanesque: The whole family survives, they hug each other, god bless america, thank god USA saved the world.

Overall: 3,5 out of 6
