You mean the horror movie?
If so then I liked it. I had everyone down as a suspect but in the end left it turned out to be the one person I hadn't even considered.

I personally think that Saw is a rather good movie, with a satisfying ending, and with an original serial killer ( not the common masked slasher ). The atmosphere is exceptional, and the only drawback is the weak acting performances. The actors did not convince me at all.

Yes, it was certainly original. Rather refreshing compared to the continous stream of generic slasher flicks that I'm forced to watch

I think it was a low budget film though. No big name actors or expense production budgets. I don't think it really detracted from it that much. The plot more than compensated. Makes a change from the usual Hollywood films with tonnes of SFX and no substance.

More than anything, I couldn't help but laugh at that Cary Elwes fellow, I couldn't take him seriously for even a second.

No, it's not that one. This one is from 2004 and was directed by James Wan. Worth seeing though, certainly indeed better than most other creepies with seriously bigger budgets.

I liked it, it was dark and creepy. I like psycho-thrillers, like The Hitcher, Se7en and Silence of the Lambs and stuff like that.

For those who liked the Hannibal movie, I recommend you check out the book as well. Definately worth a read.

Saw was made in Canada, as I recall.

I haven't seen it though. Horror movies creep me out too much.

Have you seen Ring I and II? Really nasty films. Made me see nightmares for long time.
