![]() I think it was a low budget film though. No big name actors or expense production budgets. I don't think it really detracted from it that much. The plot more than compensated. Makes a change from the usual Hollywood films with tonnes of SFX and no substance.

For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish. - Edmund Spenser (writer, and British Government Official in Ireland, AD 1596). ![]() |

I liked it, it was dark and creepy. I like psycho-thrillers, like The Hitcher, Se7en and Silence of the Lambs and stuff like that.

For those who liked the Hannibal movie, I recommend you check out the book as well. Definately worth a read.

Saw was made in Canada, as I recall.
![]() I haven't seen it though. Horror movies creep me out too much.

And what about Saw II. I liked both of them. They were different than usually horror films are.
Have you seen Ring I and II? Really nasty films. Made me see nightmares for long time. |
