I don't watch much TV lately, but when I was younger I used to like "Parker Lewis Can't Lose". Seen from the current perspective you can sense a strong early 90's feel to it... which isn't bad of course.

I dont watch TV either, because of the low quality of most of the content.
Rome isnt broadcast in Denmark, anyway. So to get quality content, such as Rome and other good shows, I buy it on DVD. Last edited by Lutiferre; Saturday, December 29th, 2007 at 01:19. |

Anyway, I don't watch TV at all. Only in the 90s I used to be an addict to TV news. I used to watch one TV news channel, and then contrast them with news on other channels and even on the teletext. I also used to read the news from a minimum of two newspapers.

), short trousers above your knees, sleveless black jackets, Texan jackets, long white socks with coloured stripes, English shoes, etc. Regarding hair styles, it was common to see men having short hair on the sides and longer at the top, usually defined with a classy line, and women an artificial curly hair with added voluminity, usually with a fringe. All this may well belong to the 80's too, but as I did not live them properly my knowledge is limited. All I know is that since the 00's all what I named above disappeared almost by magic, just like the "Tazos", the Panini cartoon sticker collections, the Bollycaos, line skating in the street, the cassette-walkman, the music recopilatories with "Mix" on the title and a large etc. To all this... shall we open a 90's nostalgics thread? ![]()

I just watch one episode of Simpsons every sunday, and saturday two episodes of Scrubs. The Simpsons... it's a classic, and the other show, just because of this man

I really enjoyed the Rome series but I could imagine some Stirpes members finding the actors far too northern (or eastern) looking. It has an almost entirely British and Irish cast; Caesar is from Belfast, Octavia from Tipperary and Mark Antony from Somerset in this version.
