the '00 years have even less identity or personal style with the extra that they marked the end of pop music as an artistic form capable of renewing itself or creating "new things". I can't name a single artist or music genre who brought something substantially new in the last years.
It's like the history of music is been already written and all you can do is some retouching here and there.
