I didn't see it but it's definitely not banned. I've never heard about movies to be banned in Russia.
Some Belarusian films are banned in Belarus, though. For example, "Mysterium Occupation". Excellent movie, by the way. Okupatsye mysteryy (2004)

Oh, Russian cinema... The only thing worse than that is Russian music scene.
 It's just unbelievable how with so many directors and musicians around they still can produce only sh t like uber-crappy Volkodav or "songs" of Dima Bilan.

The one and only Russian film I've seen was pretty bad. Watch ... something...

Some "independent" movies are good. Like Vozvraschenie ("The Return").
Vozvrashcheniye (2003) Kukushka ("The Cuckoo") isn't bad too. Kukushka (2002)
